Come out and learn to play exciting new music in the all-new BCB Youth Band. We have great instructors and great performance opportunities in the Rose Theatre. We're currently looking for eager youth in grades 7-12 interested in rehearsing, having fun and performing while representing the City of Brampton!
Vision
The Brampton Youth Concert Band has been started to continue serving the City of Brampton with the gift of music for generations to come. It will provide students with an opportunity to grow as musicians: from the selection of music they will play, to the variety of venues in which they will perform (starting as early as Spring 2012). With the proper setting and rehearsals, the ultimate goal is for students to join the parent organization: The City of Brampton Concert Band.
Mission
The Brampton Youth Concert Band offers students an environment in which they will enrich their musical growth with challenging and wide-ranging music selection. In addition, students will develop as musicians through various performance opportunities.
