The City of Brampton Concert Band is a not-for-profit organization based in Brampton, Ontario Canada. We are comprised
of about 40 - 75 members between the ages of 14 to 75+. Our mandate is:
- To provide a permanent community-sponsored service for citizens having suitable
instrumental skills and who wish to share their musical knowledge with their neighbours
through the media of Concert Band Performance.
- To provide a community-sponsored outlet for the expansion and development of
a worthwhile hobby within the context of the Community Band, to the art of music
- To serve the citizens of the City of Brampton by providing music suitable for the many
community activities that from time to time require Band music, such as
- Open air park concerts
- Band concerts in homes for the elderly
- Interdenominational religious services
- Parades in support of recognized community organizations
- The provision of Band Music at important civic functions
Currently we have the following openings
- Oboe
- Bassoon
- Alto Saxophone
- Tenor Saxophone
- French Horn
- Mallet Percussion - The Band owns chimes, xylophone, tubular bells and a vibraphone
- Please note that this is not a beginner band. Compositions range from the 300 to 600 level.
The Band would like to thank Her Worship Mayor Susan Fennell, Brampton City Council, The Corporation of The City of Brampton, The Flower City Kiwanis Club of Brampton,
The Brampton Arts Council, The Brampton and Area Community Foundation and The Brampton Board of Trade.

province's charitable gaming initiative, the Foundation provides grants to
eligible charitable and not-for-profit organizations in the arts, culture,
sports, recreation, environment and social services sectors."
